Went Hunting today with OC and Gold Nuggets . Had a great time lots of clad. Found a nice Merc and a IH plus 3 wheats. If anybody cares to give me an ideal of what the grade of the merc is it would be appreciated.HH RonC

I knew that Merc was a nice one even when it had all the dirt on it ~ now that you cleaned it up a bit it looks AWESOME!! Easily an XF! NICE!!!

That Merc and the IH look super! They looked good fresh out of the ground but look really nice now

Full bands around the fasces, definately an XF coin. Nice find, red book says $65.00 in XF. Don't expect to find a ready buyer at red book prices. Still a real nice coin in that grade. Everytime I find an older S mint merc it's rough.
