It’s About Time!

So me and my new hunting buddy Ryan went door knocking today, first contact; permission granted! 1850s house that I was pretty sure had been hunted before, but our finds suggest it is a virgin yard. 3 wheats off the bat, 1919, 1920, and 1929. A bit later I get a repeatable dig-me dig-me signal that was no more than 4 inches deep. The plug was perfect, as I broke it apart. Ever find a silver that is just that hue of white that says SLQ, before you identify it? All I saw was a fraction of it, and I knew right away who she was. No doubt no date, but that’s ok. Next 2 keepers were both time pieces. A 1970’s junky timex, and a solid old pocket watch. No details to it, not gonna pry it open as it’ll probably fall apart. Finished up with a nifty 1911 V, and a smooth 1883 Greenie.
All in all a great day!
