This is not a recent find but didn't know where else to post it (so I apologize to the moderator if this is the wrong spot). I just watched the show "Strange Inheritance" about the story of the missing 1913 V nickle of which only 5 are known to exist. The last one to be sold 3 years ago went for $3.2 million, and it reminded me of my excitement from a few years ago. I dug a very corroded nickle in a fertilized farm field, and for some reason I kept seeing a "3" for the last digit of the date. It was kind of an optical illusion of sorts since depending on which way you looked at it you could see either a "2" or a "3". I knew it was a one in a million longshot, but I sent the coin in for authentication and, of course, it came back as 1912. But after watching the show I decided to pull it out again. I can see where it could be either number, but for some reason the "3" still wants to jump out at me. I wanted to see what others think so consider this a survey of sorts. But hurry and vote before it gets taken off this page ....
