I was out hunting today when I got this signal on my e-trac 1-48 1-50 to my surprise it was only 1-2 inches deep, I knew it was a typicall silver dollar signal from all the you tube vids I have watched , when I opened up my hole i saw the coin sitting on edge ,couldn't believe it when I pulled it out woooo hoooo. This is my first barber half .I have done well I just started mding june 27th of this year still couldn't believe this coin was only 2in deep!! just goes to show dig everything also I found 1925 wheat cent great day:laughing7:

Wow, great job! The 1914 is a semi-key date and is worth over $100 in that grade.

Great find looks like a good $140 coin

Dig until your arm falls off

Congratulations! Great find.

WOW! what a beauty! Congrats...

Now THAT is a find indeed! Isn't it odd how an old coin can be so shallow and a clad one many inches down?

That is sweet.Congrats.HH.

THANK YOU EVERYONE MUCH APPRECIATED

For me, any coin over the size of a quarter is just plain special!
Especially when it's such an old one! That's what I live for, big old, silver/gold coins! They make me happy
for a long time!

Great save!

Wow.. Looks like that coin was buried in a sleeve.

Congrats on your semi-key date half, that is an incredible find and in great shape! You'll remember that find for ever!
