Thanks, I agree it looks more like 1916. Hard to imagine that was still in circulation.
You'd be sirpizsed how long they get carried around. My daughter found a 1800s ihp in the coinstar once. She got one before I did lol.
 

While walking through a parking lot earlier today, I saw this wheat penny staring back at me. Regardless if it was minted in 1916 or 1946, it pays to keeps your eyes open!:icon_thumright:

Coins are still out there in circulation. You just have to keep your eyes peeled, like you did. About 5 years ago, my wife found an Indian Head penny sitting on a seat at a Florida airport.

No doubt 1916. I found one in a parking area about a month ago. My was a 1950s but, I’ll take it.
