WWII Silver Ring?

Was vacationing in San Simeon and went to an antique store in a neighboring city (Cambria). Found this great silver ring. Polished it up the best I could with a polishing cloth.

There appears to be a crest in the middle of an eagle and 13 stars around the crest. On both sides of the ring are eagles as well. Not sure of the date nor branch of military (if it’s even military).

Any input would be helpful. Thank you.
