Stopped by the old dumpsite hoping to find another ring after digging what looks like an 18k ring. Looks like a fake and the odd thing is it doesn't turn green in vinegar and salt. Normally a copper or brass ring turns green or red but this one turned a dark color.

After a few hrs I managed to dig up a 1943 10 centavo, 3 wheats, 1948 Rosie and my best find of the day a 1919 Commonwealth Australia Penny.

Enjoy the pics.

Awesome! Did you gold test the ring, who knows what metals it maybe mixed with?

Some nice finds there

Been a slow few weeks. huh buddy? lol nice find

Sorry guys forgot to post the ring... Here's the ring on the left and the other one is a 10k I found a while back for comparison. The color is dull on the one that looks like it stamped 18k. Very different from the 10k with the Jade on it...
