Went hunting with Bardok today. Last time we hunted together we got tossed from a "private park." ;D ;D Bardok was trying out a Garrett GTI 2500 as a demo instead of the MXT he owns. We first hunted a small county park...not much, so we moved on to a large soccer complex. We both experienced a lot of electrical interference no matter what we did to adjust our machines and with the flies biting so bad, we finally retreated to a nearby elementary school. Bardok grew up nearby and thought the school had been there for a long time (see first pic). I was hunting up the first base line and wondered into right field, got a target with a VDI of 75-76 only one inch down. I put my Bullseye down to the ground and got a hit right away. I was expecting a penny but when I pried the ground up a little, I caught a glimpse of silver. To my surprise, I pull out a Mercury dime. Couldn't see the date but I knew it was old from the wear. Bardok's younger eyes called it 1919. Now that's an old merc . I verified the date under a magnifying glass when I got home but I couldn't get a clear pic of the date on it . The day was beginning to heat up so we called it quits after 3 hours :icon_sunny:. Altogether I found 35 coins for $3.18...thanks for looking
