1932 Herbert Hoover medallion

Is this worth anything,.it feels like a coin but i dont know if it is gold or bronze.

Definitely not gold. Gold sparkles . Could have been plated at one time though. Brass would be my best guesstimate. That's a nice recovery!

It looks like a pin where the pin part fell off. Maybe some sort of election supporter pin. Cool find. What does it say on the back...my old eyes can't make it out. I assume it is a makers mark which should make it rather easy to track down the purpose.
