1941-D Mercury Dime and Asian Medallion?

[oddcoins]

I met Ron at our favorite park again today. I dug up one more silver coin ~ a 1941-D Mercury Dime and a wheaty from the teens. Not much else for coins. I also found this little Asian Medallion with a guys face and foreign writing on it ~ it's small and kinda thick. Anyone know what the heck this thing is?

Looks like it might be Thai writing, but not sure. Nice finds!

Yeah, that's what I was thinking . . . . . maybe Thiland or Cambodia. . . . . who knows?!

Very neat find- the man is dressed like a Buddhist monk, I think. Can he be the Dalai Lama?

[DCMatt]

I agree - The Dalai Lama
