In 1974- White.
Now a Garrett Ace 250.
8/30/12 using a Zircon m40 Stud Finder as a hand held pin pointer.

Good photo! That looks like a 'Struck-through' error. That's when anything gets between the coin disk and the die
at the moment the disk is struck. Even a human hair could leave a mark.
Not big value, but maybe $5 - $10. (if that is what it is) but get a dealers advise. Might just be after minting damage.

Looks more like a lamination than a struck through to me. You usually won't see details of lettering where a coin has been struck through.

So, lamination error worth? Any additional value due to the fact that it is a 1941-s?

Looks like a lamination error IMO

Na, almost certainly struck through. Laminations would not occur so close to the rim without taking the whole thing off and not so clean a separation
