1944 small dime???

Found this the other day. Does anyone know the history or what its worth? One side says "United States Of America" The other " Ten Centavos Filipinas"

Its worth melt, but that's about it, so maybe a $1 or 2.

I recently picked up one of these at a flea market for $1. its a ten centavos, a Philippian coin minted in the us, the 44' is silver, It contains .0482 of an ounce of silver. Silver is currently at $30.55 per ounce so its worth about $1.47.
