Wow! I almost didn't catch this one... pocket change from buying a candy bar.
I hope these pics are good enough, I threw down my pocket change and seen a little discoloration on the nickel, glanced at it and seen it was a 1960 in pretty good shape so I turned it over to see if I could see the bottom step... Yep! Sure can!
No, wait a minute, that looks like a double die sort of thingy. So I start looking at the rest of the nickel with my 8x eye cup... BOTH SIDES! Both sides... all letters, the date and the Jefferson building is "shadowed", clearly another image underneith. Thomas himself does too!
Is this just a shift die? But it's both sides of the coin.
This is a scan of the coin, tried enlarging it, hope it helps.
