Hello fellow hunters; I just scored my fourth gold ring this year!!!! 3/23/2019
And it's my second Gold class ring I found in the old housing area that they used in the film We where Soldiers, starring Mel Gibson and others, well they have torn down those 47 year old houses and all that remains are the streets and sidewalks and the front and back yards are still there as well but have died away and it has exposed lots of coins rings toys ect. Even best there is only one full time hunter (me) and three other part part time hunters known as week enders who are active duty IMG_20190325_104940.jpgIMG_20190325_105109.jpgIMG_20190325_104823.jpg

Hey, "ringhunter 100"......Nice "back drop" of your silver dimes you have found in the past......But that is a huge GOLD class ring, I am guessing 10K. Good JOB, my friend & please keep us posted or your future finds. Happy Hunting, everyone & GOOD LUCK to All. BILL

That sounds like a great place to hunt. I believe that back in the 60's the dress uniform badges such as Airborne, Air Assault, and Crew member wings were made of sterling silver.

beautiful class ring and an awesome spot. I have only found one gold class ring, a woman's that I returned as I did all the others. congrats on the sweet find and what an awesome thing to see in the dirt. now find another one in that place

Congrats on all the silver and lovely rings! :icon_thumleft:

That is great stuff there! How do you go about getting permission to hunt on a military base? I live near one and would like to hunt it but don't know who to ask. So much could be there or is there.

Very Nice!!! Congrats!!!
