1972 half question

Hi all.

I came across this 1972 half and noticed that the edge was very shiny and does not look like the typical copper sandwich.

Any thoughts?

Looks chrome plated. You'll find those occasionally.

I agree, its chrome plated. A bit uncommon but not unheard of.
