1976 silver half proof?

I came across what looks to be 2 - 1976 silver proof halves. Did they make silver proofs halves in 1976?

Yep. 40% silver, will have an "s" mintmark.

Yeppers. San Franciso issued both copper-nickel clad and 40% silver clad proofs that year.

They are rare to be found because most of them were melted in 1982. Congrats on finding two in the same roll.
