1979s Dime

I stopped at the bank on the way to work this morning and picked up 20 rolls of dimes. No silver but I did find a beautiful 1979s cameo proof dime. These proofs are new territory to me. Can anyone give me an approximate value for something like this? Thanks.

Since proofs are typically found in protective cases and sold by the Mint in uncirculated condition, a proof in circulation with any, even minor, damage is not going to be worth much over face. As a coin collector, I do appriciate them for their design and hold on to them. On FeeBay you might be able to get a bit over face for it, depending on the amount of damage...
