Hi I was just wondering if 1985 half dollars are collectible or worth more than face value. I went to the bank today and they had $1300. in halves. I thought it was someone's dump but almost every roll are uncirculated 1985 halves. Very odd. Let me know your thoughts . Thanks

Put them on eBay / see if they sell. Do a search for sold items and see what they sold for, then try a roll or two.

What you want to keep an eye out for are the 1975 halves!:laughing7:

It seems some folks are willing to pay a premium for the 1985-P & D Kennedy Half Dollars. I would suggest a "Buy It Now" Price as you will see from the sold items at the links below, some are virtually stolen. Also, it seems that both the 1985 "P" & "D" Half Dollars have somewhat lower mintages than quite a few other Dates and Mints. Hold back the highest grade coins from the rolls and determine if it would be to your advantage to have them certified and graded before selling them.

Thanks frank. I've got about $1000 of uncirculated 85's.
