That's unfortunate, because every bank we've been to orders rolls from String. I've yet to see anything else. That being the case, what would you suggest?

As enamel mentioned "String" just makes the wrapper that the coin processing company uses to roll their coin. I know that in my area, every time I have ever found a bank that uses coin with "string n sons" wrappers-it is a LOOMIS bank. I do not know about everywhere, but where I am I have only seen string n sons on loomis rolls. Someone else may be able to answer the question as to whether or not, "string" wrappers are used by anyone else besides loomis, as I am curious too...
What I would suggest is this.... Find a bank in your area who is uses Brinks, or Guarda, or Dunbar... I even have one in my city that I have never ever heard brought up on this forum by anyone besides me. So do what I did (I had help from a fellow CRH'er who is in my area-but I would have been able to do it myself, just would have taken time). Make a list of every single bank and C.U. in your area, and then just start going to them, or calling them, and if you call, ask who supplies their coin. If you go, all you need to do is order coin, any coin for that matter. Brinks uses the clear plastic rolls on all coin smaller than half dollars and loomis uses string n son on all coin-even halves.
Once you have a clear idea as to what your options are, go from there.... If it really is true that there is only one processor in your area, than just keep doing what you are doing. I will just tell you this for your piece of mind.. When you first started, and you were getting all those silvers in every box... That is not normal, and you will learn that you cannot expect that to be the standard or you will hate this hobby. You did EXACTLY what I did, you started out by ordering halves and there was a bunch of silver in the hopper from collections being turned in, and ignorant people cashing in etc... Every time you culled a silver, there was one less in the hopper, so until someone turns in another collection to that processor, your finds will become less and less..... I have been doing this for 7 or 8 months now, my very first box had 25 silvers... It was by far my best ever. In fact I have been doing multiple boxes every week since, and only 2 times have I had 12 in a box, and 3 times I have had 6 to 8... Usually it is 1 or 2. Last night, I did 2 boxes, first was a skunk, second had 3; 1-90 and 2-40..
So try to find a brinks bank, and order from loomis and dump with brinks, or visa versa, one thing I would also suggest is to switch it up from time to time, or even wait a few weeks by not ordering, just so you allow some silver halves to accumulate in their hopper.
