[FONT=&quot]"A journey begins with the first step." And so the "Back to the UK once it's Safe Fund" begins with but a single coin.

[FONT=&quot]The ground was hard. Not quite a carbon steel but ungiving in an area that was known to the digger as a place that produces. Undaunted the digger moved to the parts covered by pea gravel. He longed for that sound. An addiction. Rewarded the digger wondered what route led that American Copper to find it's way to the undercover resting spot! Satisfied that 2021 had been brought in properly the hunt ended as quickly as it started. Soreness and home duties called.

[FONT=&quot]On the drive home the digger thought to younger years when coins were plentiful and detectorists were few. Nothing remains the same save for the desire to get out and fed the addiction.

[FONT=&quot]As his thoughts drifted, a dangerous endeavor whilst driving the digger thought about this year. What will it bring? A bucket list. A list of one. The digger's only one was that some devote fellow digaholic would enlighten or persuade the "TTDT" (tank trap detecting terrorist) to give up the hobby.

[FONT=&quot]Once home warm in his abode the digger thought of glory days past. Brewing in his aging mind was his yearly " The State of the Detectorist Union Address." Be positive was his last thought of the day on this important note!
