Primary Interest:
Metal Detecting
I got out detecting last weekend and haven't posted or made any good finds in awhile, but went on a club hunt and my 1st target rang up like a nickel on my ctx, but wasn't a good steady Nickel tone like I usually hear but I decided to dig and am sure glad I did, was only 4 inches down but when I turned the plug over and saw a glint of Shiney gold it sure put a smile on my face! It's only my 2nd gold ring, but it's my 1st 14k gold.

It's a small ladies ring, my postal scale isn't sensitive enough to register its weight, so I'll need a better weigh scale. Any recommendations appreciated! Thanks for looking.

Thanks everyone for your comments and taking time to view my post! Texasctx...as I mentioned, it was Nickel signals on my ctx, but broken up, not as smooth of a tone as usual for a nickel, but the numbers were the same.

Casper..Wow what a beautiful pile of gold rings you have!!!! Congratulations on your successful hunts! Advice? GL & HH all!

Congratulations.

I recommend not telling the wife or you might lose it also. :tongue3:

my only reccomendation is to send it to me to go with my mens ring I found last month
