Finally had a day off today, first since July 2nd, hit the beach, found around $8 in clad, oldest coin was a 1957 wheat cent. A 14k gold ring with an opal (4.2g) was the second find of the day, and shortly afterward found a Sterling Silver ring with a green stone (probably glass) marked .925 inside (7.5g).

I started the hunt around 9AM and called it a day around noon when it got to 97 degrees and I was almost out of water.

Looks like you found a beach that hasn't been detected in a while, or, one that lost some sand. I only see one fresh drop in the whole bunch!

Yeah, nobody detects this place for some reason, many of the coins and jewlery have been lost for decades.

Congratulations on your great finds! Thanks for sharing.
