1st attempt at 1800's house - Morrisville Battlefield area

I received permission today to MD this old 1800's house and land, which is right where the Morrisville Battlefield was. (April 13th & 14th, 1865)
Here is a link on that battles history:
http://www.mindspring.com/~nixnox/history2.html
This house has been in the same family since it was built. It served as a stagecoach stop also.
If you look at the picture of the chimney, you can see where the old bullet holes where re-patched with mortar. The family said that the property HAS been MD'd over the years, but I was still able to come up with a few finds on my short 2 hour hunt. I just stayed mainly in the front yard today. I did find a LOT of signals in the backyard where the old kitchen used to sit by the well. I dug up the broken bell there.
Anyways, there is a LOT of acres to cover, so this will be my new w/end spot for awhile.
My finds today were:

*1898 IH (along the front walkway)

*A "Treble Gilt" button

*An 18mm musketball (?) right by the chimney.
This is a musketball, right?

*Brass bell (in backyard area)

*A small corroded copper looking piece. It looks like a coin, but I'm not sure?
It is thin like a dime, and the size of a dime. Is there such a coin?
It will need electrolysis bad.

*A possible thimble (?) and other asst'd unknown relics.

I am invited back to MD, and am very excited about this new hunting spot. There was to be some old silver out there somewhere. ;D
Thanks for looking,
MM

Great finds and looks like a great spot for hunting, I'll attach a pic of a 58cal miniball to show you what they look like. I molded it back in april after finding a lead ingot in a field.

Thanks Giant. Very cool. Great picture.

Hopefully you'll find some O mint barbers, like 94o, 95o, 96o, and 97o. But then again, forget about the barbers. You need to find a 38o half dime!

Thanks SMS88. That would be a dream. I'll put on my "O" face. ;D
