Made the trip down to where I can still crack the ground. Every other target was still impossible to dig. But at least I found a few thinner frozen ground. Is it bad when you carry a hammer to get coins out of the clump? I started out in 15 degrees F and froze my butt off but it warmed up to a blistering 40 degrees. I was dying from heat. Dressed way to warm for that. My only wheat cent was 1946, and silver was a 1952 rosey and 1956 quarter. Got a pile of lead , a marble, and a junk ring. Any day you get silver is good. Especially if their is snow on the ground.

You braved the cold and frozen ground and came away with two very nice silvers. Great Job! I'm wondering though if this on the end of a cordless drill might make it easier to get to those targets?
