1st Few Hunts Of 2019 (Update)

The first few hunts of 2019 have produced some nice finds so far. I been hunting a big section of woods that use to be a state park in the 50's. But before that it had some earlier activity.

I found a coin spill that had two Barber Quarters 1902 and 1903, three wheat penny's all teens, one 1918 Mercury dime and two V nickels 1905 and 1892.
This was found last weekend.

This weekend I found a sterling silver pin with some stones in it and a Hop Along Cassidy gold colored cap gun. I looked the cap gun up to see what they looked like in there original state, and they say they are really rare and pricey.. lol to bad mine is in rough shape.

2 Barber Q's in one hole ? I'm still looking for my 1st Ever Barber Quarter, & that Merc, is 'Chipper' for a 1918 . OH! you also equaled my V nickle lifetime total in on hole . lol

To me, an old coin spill is more exciting than opening a Christmas present when I was a kid back in the days of Noah. Congrats! I personally like seeing the reverse side first and seeing the "one dime", the anticipation of... Is it a Barber or Seated?
