Hello everyone, I have to admit here in the Northeast were enjoying the 50° weather, actually I think Saturday was 60° and we got out hunting.

Saturday I went with Don-in-Brewster, Charles, and Mike, to Don's favorite old park. I managed to get three cool keepers. Two Indianhead penny's 1881 and 1884. Another really cool find was a two piece presidential campaign button from 1888 when President Grover Cleveland was running for reelection with his running mate Alan Thurman. I have searched the Internet and have not found another button like it, any information would be appreciated.

Today Sunday, I went out in the woods and found an assortment of items, a nice small colonial era flat button which is very thin and has a design or script writing on it. I also found a really cool looking two-piece button about the size of a large cent with a face and angel wings, any information on the button and would really be appreciated I also might list it in the "what is it" section.

I am really stoked to finally find a bucket list coin, my first Seated Liberty Quarter 1876 !
It was such an exciting find for me.

Enjoy the photos and happy hunting.

Nice hunt, Congrats!

Congrats on your first Seated Quarter. Its a beauty.

WTG Dude. :headbang: I can tell you stoked after that hunt. It's always a great day when you mark one off the list. The seated Q still eludes my coil.

Congratz on some awesome finds! I got my first seated quarter about a month ago and it was an 1876 too! Yours looks better than mine tho!

Not sure where you are at in new york, but we still have 6 inches of snow/ice even after that warm day we just had, been itching to get out big time. Awesome finds!
