1st timer!

Howdy guys and gals. Usually I stick to MD'ing and mainly focus on that to obtain my silver, but lately I've been in somewhat of a slump. $:-\$ I've been reading the CRH threads for quite some time but havent began to partake in this hobby until today... I asked my bank last week to order a box of halves for me and they came in today! I immediately flew to the bank and retrieved them then hurried back home and opened them all. I was like a kid at christmas tearing through the rolls.

I didnt get any keepers until about halfway through the box, then my very 1st silver (CRH)! A 1964 Kennedy 90%er. I was stoked! A few rolls later a 1968 40%er! I tore through the rest of the rolls with no more silver to account for, but I was still extremely happy with my take. Is this about average for a box? I returned to my bank and ordered another box for next week. I really did enjoy myself and will probably order multiple boxes per week from now on... This is soooooo fun. Just thought I would share my first time with everyone. Any pointers from the pro's out there? HH! Bryan H.

Nowadays that's a good box. Seems like people who do volume are averaging one silver every two boxes. There are still boxes showing up now and then with lots of silver, but they're rare, and lots of people go through many skunks in a row.

No, I still have the coins at the house. I still have to roll them then I'm gonna go start a savings account at another bank and use this box of coins to make my deposit. :tongue3:
