its funny that since i've started mding how i cant wait for the fairs and carnivals to be over!

The dimes are sweet. Our local carnival sets up on pavement at a restricted stadium! Grrrr....(They don't allow MD at all there). Hopefully we'll get to hunt our larger agricultural fairgrounds this year. HH...

Thanks all

Jim, it was very odd, My detector went wild like sense shot all the way up.
every swing had so many noises, I couldn't choose or pinpoint what to dig.
Got a High tone, shortened my strokes, pinpointed & about 8"
down Merc. did this in the same general area 4 times & dug 4 Mercs.
after the mercs dried up, the high tones were Wheats & falsies from Iron gizmos.
all at least 8" deep, and all in an area we all hit every time we go there.

First time in years I hunted this early also.

I wonder if time of day matters :tongue3:

fair ground do pay off, you did better than me you got silver,, happy hunting
