2.5 Hrs leads to my BEST SILVER DAY yet!!

todays hunt:



hey guys, got out with olddude today to the spot from the other day, I only had about 2.5-3 hrs to hunt do to family commitments today, right away I hit a 59 memorial, then a wheat, then the 3rd target was the 44p war nickel, yep, right in front of dave, sorry buddy lol!!, I wasn't planning on making a video for todays hunt so I didn't record til much later in the day, I kept swinging along and managed another couple wheats, then got a screamer at 11-50 on the etrac at 4 inches, im thinking silver quarter, I call dave over and he gets an 87, similar to silver quarter, I pop the plug, and dig a bit and there is a 61 roosie!, I was shocked, I thought itd be a quarter but that's ok, ill take it!!, a few wheats later, I get 2 more mercs, a 1935 buffalo, and another roosie, finally I pull out the video at silver #6!! another merc!! 6 silver day!! after that I got 1 more wheat and we had to leave, man guys what a day, this was by far the best silver/old coin day ive had yet!!

You did awesome! Being familiar with where you were at. I know that you put a lot of work in 2.5 hours to get those. Better get checked for giardiasis after pulling up all those beaver tails floating around there. Killer silver day and keep those videos coming.

I bet your still on cloud 9 and having trouble falling asleep just thinking about this hunt. Big silver days don't happen often for most of us anyway, so when they happen they are special.
My best silver day was my 5 silver dime day, had a few 4 silver days but never 6 silvers in a day.

thanks!, yeah its funny I was in such a great mood after this hunt, heck still am!, sites like this don't pop up that often and I owe another tnetter here a huge thanks for letting me in on it!, prior to this hunt my best silver day was 4 coins and 1 sterling brush in 1 hunt so yeah im pretty excited. I doubled my silver count for the year +1 in 2.5 hrs!!

Thanks again will!, that's the trick, get rid of the 183,432, 961 beaver tails and new signals start popping up!, I got a weird choppy signal reading pulltab/silver coin, in both directions, I dig a plug, pop out a beaver tail, rescan and bang I get an 11-43 which is usually wheats and low and behold, 2 wheat spill! I wish I started recording earlier but I was trying to work quick, who would've thought I was in the middle of my best silver day ever! I should've posted a pic of all the beavertails I pulled out, I always forget to post the trash also!

man what a day, what a way to end a nice long 5 day break from work

Well i did laugh for a while as I contemplated how to break the news to ya lol. All I could do was laugh. That darn nickel was literally right below the gravel at about 2 inches, I thought it was clad at first
