Decided to go hunt for just a little bit before heading out of town for the holidays. Went to a house I had asked permission to hunt the week before. The owner said it was built in 1928 so I had some great expectations. I wasn't let down. About 10 minutes in I got the first good find, a 1942-S quarter and the dateless Buffalo stuck together.
After about another 20 minutes I got another good signal, albeit a little weaker. I dug the hole, pulled the plug and saw at the bottom of the hole the first barber, a 1912. I rescanned the plug and got another strong silver signal and out came the 1911 barber. A little deeper in the hole I found the 1918 wheat penny. I went on and found the other wheat, a 1934. It was a great evening!
