Brinks Box#2- 67 40% so covered in thick black gunk, had to clean it with brake parts cleaner so it looked like a coin again.

1 silver is better than 0 silver. A heads up, unless you have some sort of special desire to keep NIFC, I would just throw it back. You will see 100s of em once you really get into it.

I do, but it will constrict your CRH budget and the prices will probably not go up until you have grand kids.

Well, I already have grandkids. I can't speak for other parts of the country, but around here nobody carries halves around and spends or uses them. I can see a scenario where the mint could possibly discontinue the coin all together, then possibly they would be worth something. Just a thought.

It will probably not increase in value until maybe 50 yrs. from now.
