2 boxes of halves one of dimes, interesting half

[washingtonian]

Found a few keepers today. The most interesting coins were the panama coin found in the dimes, and the 1979 half with the silver edge. As far as I could see there was no S mintmark on the 1979 coin, although it has a silver colored edge. Any input on that coin would be great. Also the dimes were 1964 D and 1947. Thanks for looking and HH

Nice score, partner.
The 79 is probably chrome plated.
It seems like people enjoy plating halves, especially the bicentennials.
