2 Brass Whatsits from an old homestead/field

[CoilToTheSoil]

These 2 bits were found at the same site as the block i and Virginia button that I recently found. Tossed them in the tumbler with my recent batch of clad.

Any ideas?

one might be a curtain rod holder.

I think the one with rivets is a thumb ring from a candle holder.

I suspect the item with the rivets may come from a large cooking pot or bucket.

Yours looked like these before part of the finger loop broke off.
