2 Hour Hunt, 51 Coins, 2 Silvers, and a Dollar Coin

Quick hunt this morning, at an elementary school I've hunted before. Found two silver Washingtons in the past, and found two Mercury Dimes today (the mercs and the Washingtons all came out of a 20 foot circle).

The mercs were deep and inconsistent signals (I guess the recent rain gave me a little more depth, because I've scoured this area before).

Total haul

20 Lincolns (5 Wheat)
16 Clad Dimes
9 Clad Quarters
3 Jeff Nickels (oldest a 1941)
2 Mercury Dimes ( a 36 and a 43)
1 Sacajewea Dollar

All in all, not a bad hunt for just a couple of hours. Always happy to snag a couple silvers.

Might have had a few less mosquitoes to contend with if I have done yard work instead. But I sure can't complain about popping out a couple of mercs.

Congrats on a nice hunt. Love seeing a merc in the hole. 2 silvers make for a great day. I even like that 41 nickle. Now you can sleep easy tonight knowing you did your part in rescuing coins today...

Slinging more dirt than you can imagine.

I've worked this place before, so a lot of these finds were deep.

One of those mercs was about 10 inches.

Oh yeah... did I say this F70 machine is DEEP!!

Can't complain much about a couple mercs, but I'd have much rather been hunting my wooded permission. Much Much older site.

But it's been so wet here that the mosquitoes will carry you off if you even set foot in the woods.

Man I'll be happy to see the fall.

soon enough man soon enough, im dying for cooler temps, but not too soon with that miserable frozen ground, this past winter was harsh!!
