Desperate to swing I braved the sleet and 20 mph winds on a local spot just 20 minutes away. That Deus is really amazing since we wrote this spot off years ago. I stayed in the iron bed and dug anything even half worthwhile. I should have been using the 9" and will next time. I dang near froze out there for a few bits of metal. But i really like the button. The cuff link is pretty cool too. Got it and the connecting piece. I realized I had found a similar piece at another site late last year. Looks like a close enough match to put them together.

Another good hunt CP. The cuff links resemble a late 1700s set I dug in a C.S.A. camp a few years ago. WTG, Q.

Man that's a great looking button CP! And I'm a sucker for a nice buckle

Yep, this site is a solid 200 years old. The latest coin found was a 1795 halfpenny. Pretty confident the site existed 1750-1800. Maybe even 1770-1800.

Very nice finds CP. I envy your finds, but not your weather! GL&HH.

Brutal conditions, but a nice payoff!! WTG on matching the cuff links and love the button! Extreme Treasure Hunters we are, I had it a little warmer Sunday but it was a muddy mess and this 53 year old body felt it the next day! Congrats CP!

I like those early Navy, found a few similar. Cufflinks are always good too!

Awesome finds man love that old button the cufflinks are cool to congrats on a good hunt...

Nice finds CP! There ought to be naval buttons scattered all over that peninsula. That ones nice as are the buckle and cuff links. But man don't you know that they would have waited right where they were for you to dig when the weather was a little better?

Good stuff there! Nice oval knee buckle. The Navy is sweet as is the cuff link.

LOL. I would have never gone otherwise. I have other sites that desperately need my attention.

Nice button!! I like finding them, cuz ya never know WHAT might be on them!!! And the cuff links are cool too... I have never found any of those yet...

All nice digs. You did spectacular for two hours.congrats on the button and links.Couldn't ask for much better condition on the button,I am the same way in the infested spots,i always dig those iffy sounds.

Nice bunch of oldies. Like the Naval button and especially the cuff link. Looks a lot like the one I found recently. WTG!

Those are some neat finds. Love the patina on the anchor.

I really like that frame!, I had one last year, not knowing what I had, I tossed it, stupid me

great finds!!

Those are beauties for sure! Very nice!!

Nice finds and well worth a little frost bite lol.

For only two hours you did exceptionally well. The Deus is a treasure finding little machine. The naval button is really fantastic.
