Hello everyone I got off work today around 2:30 and decided to go detecting for a couple of hours down around the Key Biscayne. Obviously found a lot of trash but some coins and something I need help identifing.. but will post that photo in the "WHATS IT" category. Nothing spectacular but I always have fun...

One these days when you least expect it, you will see the glint of gold.

Thanks for sharing and happy hunting!

You know what eawoman . . . you're digging everything and that's exactly what you have to do to learn what your detector's telling you! :icon_thumright: It's going to take a few months, but eventually you'll start to understand your detectors language and you won't be digging so many bottle caps. ;D

I only started metal detecting 8 months ago and this is what I found today!

Best of luck!
Dave

Thanks I am hoping the glint is real LOL.. I am new and I am learning how to be patient.. It is a lot of fun and I meet new people when I go out.. it is almost like an ice breaker... people want to know what I am looking for or what I have found.. Kids love it the most.
