Hunted an area that I've been hitting hard. Today got two nice low grunts. A 11-03 and a 09-09. The first one isn't yellow Gold. The inside says 14K F4 and the Yellow Gold ring says 14K-A-L. This is all new to me because rings 1-5 were JUNK! The funny thing with the yellow gold ring, the very next signal I got was a 09-09 again. Anyone wanna guess what it was? .................................................................................A Pulltab.:laughing7: Just shows that you need to dig them all. Glad I found them in the order I did, would hate to have mistaken the ring for anothe pulltab and passed it up. Anyways, I think the one may be white gold. I lost one just like it when I was stationed in CA except it was yellow gold. I think this one may get a home on my finger since I haven't worn a wedding ring in over 8 years. I need to make sure it's a men ring first of course. I am pretty much ring stuped. Anyways, This is my first gold ever and if they are both gold, this is my best day yet. Thanks for looking.

It looks like you had a great day! I am still looking for my first one. HH and keep up the good work!

Keep at it. I've been putting in so much time I've been sleeping with the dogs! Not really but the wife is mad most of the time because of all the time I spend out. Good luck finding the first! Do some research and when not detecting, think of places to detect.

I really want to find some Barbers! Mercs are my best so far. Congrats on these two nice finds. I must admit I have no idea what a "Amethyst" is.

Ho Hum, just two 14k rings :laughing7: You know I'm just kidding. Great feeling finding gold. I LOVE IT! Bet you do too. Congrats!!!

Just two rings I worked my butt off for. I did dig a lot of lead also that toned the same. I was mainly looking for lead to melt into ingots. I'll take the gold over lead anyday! Thanks for the posts all. I enjoyed reading all the comments. Thank you.

Poorman. Lol. I didnt either until my wife informed me. She wants me to make it a charm for a necklace since I didn't find the match. Lol.

Amethyst, purple quartz that was once thought to ward off intoxication.........Found that on Wiki (Not acceptible for academic references) but ok for here. I want to stay as far away from this stuff as possible. When I drink I want a little buzz. Stupid rock!

Lmao. Yes I found the same thing. some can fetch a pretty good penny but not the more common ones out of south america. Dotnt know which one I have though............I thought i found a ring yesterday, but was mistaken. :(. Still searching.

Boy popping a ring out is a great feeling! I thought I was dreaming on the second one. I will be hitting this spot again this weekend. Never know how many more will be there. I had also found that old junk army ring I spoke of also. I found that with my eyed though. Thought it was a hunk of lead covered in mud but nope, it was an army ring you can get when leaving boot camp. Well I got a similar one when leaving boot from the Corps. Mine looks gold but nothing is stamped on the inside except Jossin or Josslin or something like that. I think that is a makers mark. Keep looking for those treasures and dig the junk. The first white gold was surely a junk tone in my eyes 11-03 on the se pro and I dug anyways. Glad I did.

Two rings in one day is a good day.way to go

Nice finds! Still working on my first gold ring, or silver. Actually working on anything gold or silver haha! Congrats

It will come. Just keep at it and do some thinking as to where people were years ago that isn't overly hunted. Even then better machines will hit the deeper older stuff.

Since getting out of the service I have put on a few pounds. I like to get a little drunk once in a while and though I am an adult college student, I do not consider myself a smart guy. Does that make me fat, drunk and stupid? I kind of like my life :laughing7:
