I have been going to this big old park here in town for a couple of hours each of the past three days before work. I have dug 67 pennies, 3 nickles, two dimes and 1 quarter and this one ring (cheap not silver or gold). I don't even want to say how many pull tabs and bottle tops.

Since I am new at this I'd like to ask you all a question. Do any of you hunt just dimes and quarters? Because it seems to me that the ratio of pennies to nickles, dimes and quarters is somewhat askew, or am I maybe doing something wrong.

A photo of two wheaties 1941 and 1946 and the ring (my first). I hunt in all metal and dig most every signal.

Thank you and
HH

Rob, just in the past week and half I have set my MXT to rule out below a dime. I still find copper pennies. But mostly now just dimes and quarters. Mr. Pepper has an ACE 250 and tried his settings to match mine. He still finds mostly pennies. Hope this helps.

Congrats on your first ring! 8)
I usually dig all above iron at the park, unless I get into a patch of foil or can slaw. :P Then I move over a tad. :D
On my MXT, those pennies could be a silver ring and those pull tabs could be a gold ring! Dig it!! You'll never know if ya don't!

Nana :)

I have an ACE 250 and I usually dig it all. Throw it in jewelry mode. That has worked the best for me. Sometimes I throw it in all metal mode cause there are some cool relics to be had.
