The last 2 hunts I went on I found 20 and 10 pieces. My best day yet! It did take me 8 hours to find the 20 and out of that 5 were whole. Found 3 broken drills too. Out of the 10 piece day 9 of them were whole! Also a shark tooth fossil I found in the same creek. Not sure if it would have been from when we were under ocean waters or brought from a glacier, or even an indian artifact.. If anyone has ideas on the point types please let me know. The biggest one is 3 3/4 inches.

And then the waters receded...

Well I went out again the other day but the water was too high. Then yesterday was just right, low and clear. It got dark before I finished so some were found with a flash light. I found 15 pieces in 7 hours 11 of them are mostly whole. The largest is right at 4". Enjoy!

What do you think of the 2 big ones? I'm thinking a blank for the round one and maybe old for the other it shows lots of grinding on the sides and a little on the base. No fluteing though.

Great post! You've got to be in Henry or Louisa counties, or maybe Lee. I'm in Jefferson. I had a good day last weekend also:

Does your camera have video capability? Would be nice to see those on video.

Wow, you're really cleaning up there. I'm stuck in the office and dying to get out. Nice work :icon_thumright:
