20 rolls of nickels (updated)

I had gone through 20 rolls of nickels, and my dad said that I can have twenty from his box. It had some pretty good results.

1949s
1953s

the coin in the pic looks like a '22 - maybe I just can't see the date too well from the pic

I like searching nickels too. I found a nice full date '36 buff and a no date buff a few days ago myself as well as 2 silver nic's (both '43P) earlier this week.

awesome job!!! you got some nice tribe going on there, an indian head penny and a buffalo nickel too! Keep it up, maybe you'll have a V nickel come at you next time!

I got a box of nickels myself earlier this morning, saving it for later to open.

quite honestly, you shouldn't have used Nic-A-Date on the nickel if you knew what the date was. Though it made the date much more clear, the coin is now ruined.

A no-date buffalo nickel is worth 6 cents, so using Nic-A-Date isn't a big deal. A partial date is 8 cents, and a full date is 10 cents. Kind of sad how such a nice coin can be so worthless.

Personally, I love the buffalo nickel design, therefore, my forum name on here, BuffaloBoy. The buffalo nickel was the coin that got me into coin collecting when I was 4 years old. (That and the canadian nickel i found in my change jar)

1926-p is a common year buffalo nickel with a mintage of almost 44.7 million. Keep on searchin!
