20 to 1?

With the price of gold at $1474 and silver at $41.5, we have a ratio of 35 to 1. Compared to crazy ratio of 50 to 1 when Chase was deep manipulating the price, it is a much improvement. So how many do you think that we are heading to the traditional 20 to 1 which had been there for centuries? Why or why not?

I hope it goes to 20-1, that would be nice. But then again, if it does, sooo many people will be hunting silver. It will be hard to find it.

On what basis do you feel 50 to 1 is "crazy"? The historical 15 to 1 ratio was set by the government and both gold and silver prices were fixed. So even if you believe that the silver market is manipulated today, it was more "regulated" and thus "manipulated" back when the ratio was 15 to 1 than it is today.

I don't believe we will ever see 20 to 1 again. I am just stating my opinion on this. I think we will have a nice correction coming at 50 bucks per ounce or less, but I have been saying this for a while so I could be wrong.
