A coworker knows my obsession of coins right now and she says she has these coins and they are silver. I haven't seen them and I know that the cash for gold places won't offer her much more so I'm going to offer her $10 each. is that to low?

I think you might mean silver American Eagle coins, such as this one:

If this is the case, then each coin contains one ounce of pure silver, and you should pay at least $15 a piece.
