Probably a bank roll. Didn't pay any attention to it. Can't see that Sears would be getting mint rolls.
 

Almost looks sanded off.

At first I thought Filled Die.
 

That is unusual. . . the first thing I'd do would be to weigh both the error cent and a normal cent then see if the weights match. If they do, you might have a winner.

Looks like a " die trial strike " When replacing worn out dies in the coining process the new dies have to be adjusted. The proper alignment and pressure has to be achived. A planchet is placed between the two dies, adjustments are made and the resulting improperly stamped coin is usually discarded.

I have had a few of these over the years. Yes they are worth a few dollars.
