an extreme case of "struck thru grease"... this one could be valueable... can we get a picture of the front?
nice find!
buff

I added the obverse shot.

looks like a good one, i am not one to know much on errors, but usually "struck thru" errors are generally only on one area. i have quite a few myself of various denominations, i just don't think there's a market for them.

Good find. I have sold several struck through grease errors to dealer for about 5 dollars a piece. A 500% profit for 1 cent isn't too bad.

Yep, struck through grease, not a very valuable error but most are much less dramatic than that, most likely worth a couple of bucks.

Hang on to it for a while, put it in one of those coin holders.

Cool coin. I wouldn't take less than 5 for it and yea hang onto it, maybe you get more either way cool find.

Thats a cool coin.when i started crh i found lots of odd stuff doing pennys.

A modern REVERSE greaser.......RARE!!! since the mint went to horizontal presses.

Ususally today it's on the obverse.
