Hey folks, I don't know how this idea will go, but I figure if this thread is a success, it would save the forum from having a page of individual posts about 2012 finds... so,

please post your 2012 crh finds here, pictures or not, and if you have stories, go for it!!

In 2012 I found the following stuff:
• about 14 rolls of 40%ers
• about 3 rolls of 90%ers
• about 2 1/2 rolls of 90% quarters
• about 2 rolls of 90% dimes
(Bear in mind I just started hunting in early 2012 and I only used about $500 to hunt with for the first SIX MONTHS)

My goals for 2013 are:
• 500 40%ers
• 100 90%ers
• two rolls of quarters
• two rolls of dimes

Happy Hunting!!!

Hey Buff, what were your totals? Did you meet all of your goals for 2012?

Ive been organized coin roll hunting for about 3 months now.

Wheats = 175
War Nickels = 8
Silver Rosies = 56
Silver Canadian Dimes (80%) = 2
Silver Quarters = 3
40% Halves = 5
90% Halves = 1

Total Troy Ounces of Silver = 6.2626, Total searched is around $12,000 (didn't keep track my first month and i work a register so it would be hard to determine how much i acutally go through in my till)

Other noteable finds include a 1934 Canadian penny in EF-40 to AU-50 condition, many low mintage jeffersons, and some NIFC/Proof halves that im not really interested in and will probably try trading.

2013 looks to be a more promising year for me, my dump banks have finally gotten situated. Now that the holidays have pasted, i will have more bankroll to play with. So far i have 2 boxes of dimes coming everyweek with lots of CWR and ordering 2 boxes of halves todays to hopefully come weekly. I plan on uping the amount of dimes unless halves start to finally produce. I am looking for a measly 30 ounces in silver for 2013.

I started CRH on 12/18/2012 and here is what I found:

90% Kens: 5
40% Kens: 6
War Nickels: 4
Dimes: 2

Total 3.0657 Ounces
$3,180 searched

Not a bad start. Going for 100 oz this year.

1 roll 90%ers
1 roll 40%ers
1 walker
2 bens
5 roosies
1 quarter

This was about the last three months of 2012 as I just started

I totaled 34.5 ozt.

Started in the beginning of March of 2012, I averaged 3.83 ozt per month.

DCA for the total is $1.99 per ozt.

7 40% and a Rosie! Low budget! :p

Congrats everyone. Even more jealous now that I've been cut off from every bank near me.. :(

I don't have a big budget so I don't have any silver YET :) Went through only 6 rolls of halves. I go through pennies mostly since it's all I can afford right now. I'm still in High School trying to get a job lol. But my penny totals are in my sig. I started the beg. of December. :) HH.

Did you find the ASE's and silver dollars in teller trays or eisenhower bags?

I hit the halves hard about 2 weeks ago. 6 skunks. The following week, I had 2 more skunks. Then I found a Ben. That made all the skunk boxes not so disappointing.

No matter what you find. Enjoy what ya have at the end of the day. Life is short!

Novapax

I bought some coins off a couple teller, got some ase's, peace, morgans, etc. I bought the ATB too. But I sold some 40%'s to get em. I just "added em to the stack."
