Here are my goals and totals for 2012. Finished the last goal a few hours ago with 200 silver dimes (then got three more!!!):
Goal:
At least 1 ounce of silver a month -- Done
Jan = 5.95
Feb = 3.89
Mar = 1.84
Apr = 14.23
May = 5.52
Jun = 9.37
Jul = 1.05 (CLOSE!!!)
Aug = 1.76
Sep = 9.89
Oct = 3.77
Nov = 3.36
Dec = 8.64
Total = 69.27 Ounces
Goal:
Average of one silver coin per day (365 in a year) -- Done
Total = 514 silver coins
Goal:
At least one of each denomination of silver coin (except dollar coins) -- Done
Totals
War Nickels: 13
Dimes: 203
Quarters: 1
40% Halves: 253
1964 JFK: 25
Franklins: 19
Some odds and ends: Two Barber Dimes, Two silver Canadian Dimes, Eight Mercury Dimes, One Buffalo Nickel, One 1972 Type II Ike, 16 1979 P SBA Near Dates, 10 1974 D Doubled Die Halves, One Double Clip Planchet 40% Silver Error, and five of the silver FDR dimes were found in Coinstar Reject trays.
I don't keep as good of records on how much I searched, but I have been averaging about $3000 a week mixed mostly dimes and halves. I'd guess I looked through close to $150,000 in coins this year. I'm still in the minor leagues compared to some on here like Tim Zim who probably does that much in a week
Happy New Year CRHers!!! I hope 2013 brings record breaking scores to all.
