17/1 average, looks like your going to be digging lots of copper to gt to the yearly goal in silver. Well done on the coppers, best of luck for the next outing.

I can relate to that. I once found 18 wheats in an old yard and NO silver; and
after many years of detecting I still never get tired of finding them. I keep hoping to find a 1909-S VDB lol

Good luck my man. The next hole could have something shiny in it. That’s what I tell myself.

Thats a good ratio and something to look forward to.
So far my first and only coin this year was a 1939 Wheat.
I also dont get sick of finding them :icon_thumright:

Wow, I guess those nickels were left by park hunters in the past. I found a handful last year as well. Good luck!

I noticed people turn their nose up to wheaties but the first one was how old? Creeping up on 110 years old! Congrats on the Strip hunt wheaties. I'm jealous since the ground has been like concrete here for many days. Got one hunt in this year. 1 wheat, and one merc in a farm field.
