2023 Begins Ky finds

Had some rain finally. And with Temps near 60 had to talk walk. First off seen two bald eagles. Always beautiful.

Then while picking up flakes, spotted this guy.

Almost back to the car and one more. Unreal.

Maybe five more steps. I can't even believe it.

Back home and checking the flakes and another broke triangle. What an amazing day. It's the one to the right.

Sitting around bored today. Temps in the 60's. Had an urge to walk the triangle field again. Not sure why, but went anyway. So glad I did. First off was another very nice triangle...

Then about 30mins off not much I saw this piece of chert. Looks worked, flipped it with stick. Thought maybe so took a pic. Then picked it up and cleaned the dirt off. Total shock. It's a broke point. I've never found any points here other than triangles.

30 mins till sunset, might as well keep looking. That's a another triangle, nope. It's a broke needle tip. So sharp...

Running out of day light and headed for the car. Spotted some flake and thos guy. Wow, it is another triangle. So very thankful...

With a field like ‘triangle field’, I’d get bored after every rain.
Thanks for artfully sharing that trip with us. Looks like the material on 4 of those pieces is similar. And, one of those triangles looks drill-like to me. Are they Madison types?
