The soil is hard as concrete :( , several months ago has not rained and the fields are still unplowed ..... and the sun no truce. ( being the only relic hunter that is in the field at this time in my country) but in two hours find three Roman coins and some other things. ;D

a Antininianus ... This silver coin introduced by Caracalla and worth twice the Denarius, but really only had about 1 1 / 2 of the silver in the denarius. Both Antoninianus and the dinar continued for some time until the penny was eliminated. Gradually, over the third century, the silver content of the fallen antoninianus

one Semis ... Bronze Roman coin of the first centuries of the empire.

a Sestercius ... The sestertius was the largest denomination of bronze in the ancient Roman Empire, and continued shrinking only gradually until the reign of Posthumus (usurper in the breakaway Gallic Empire, 259-258 AD), who coined the last sestertius .

Greetings to all !! :hello:

Great looking finds and pictures as usual Hispan :icon_thumright: Your soil over there seems to be fairly gentle on the corrosion factor of your artifacts. Can you tell me what you think the circular silver item is with the hole in the top was for? :icon_scratch: Would it have possibly held a photo of a loved one from a chain?

Welcome my our world  Even in the wintertime we don't have enough rain and it's very hard to dig. I've scratched a couple of keepers lately because of that. What is this round thingy that looks like a pendant?

Hello Antiquarian ! Is the outside of a medal that once carrying off a photo of a loved one (the average apple) is very large and appears to be 19th century or early 20th.
Greetings! :hello:

So I thought. It's a locket-frame. Probably ca 1910 - 1930.

The next day .... correctly identify and photograph the findings.
The currency larger than shown above next to the dollar sack is a Sestercius of Emperor Philipus I , had much luck with this coin in very good condition and the rarest to find (these Setercius are among the most expensive of 250 $ 150 at auction, and had no coin of this emperor in my collection.
Also shown in the second photo all Setercius found in the same field in the last two years.
Greetings!
