One suggestion, most of us are not familiar with all the creatures through out the vastness of time so perhaps you can include a picture of art work of said creature with your finds. That would definitely help us less informed as to what we are looking at.

I don't know much about fossils but that looks like a great find.It was a sea creature? Found in ohio, must mean that ohio, along with most if not all of the country was underwater at one time.Is that a correct assumption?MM2.I've found seashell fossils in the mountains of NJ nearly 1000 feet above sealevel.

Excellent fossil find! It's amazing to find these little critters that were alive soooo long ago. While camping on Mt. Davis, the highest point in PA, I found a hillside that was just stuffed with tiny shell fossils. Highest mountain was under water!

Although I know little about fossils, your enthusiasm certainly speaks volumes about your find - grats!!!
It's not every day that I can tell my wife I just saw a crinoid calyx anus!!! In fact, I don't think I've ever uttered those words aloud
Great find!!!

Thats an awesome Crinoid. I have only found the stems of them everywhere. Never have found a complete head. I have also seen them for sale on websites. It might be worth a pretty good chunk of change. Keep digging.

very nice find there. You know of course that an intact calyx could be worth some very big bucks depending on species.

What a cool, cool find!
Your enthusiasm shows just how special it is, to those (me) who simply don't know anything about them. But I'm now starting to learn, thank you!
Way cool - and congrats!
